Information we collect
When you request a free build guide, we collect the email address you choose to provide. Providing it is voluntary, but we cannot email the guide without it.
Our cloud infrastructure and security provider may also process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, request time and pages requested to deliver and protect the site.
How we use information
We use your email address only to send the guide you requested and to operate, secure and troubleshoot the delivery service. We do not use guide-request addresses for marketing and do not sell personal information.
Service providers and international processing
We use a cloud infrastructure provider to host and secure the site and database. The guide is sent automatically through our email delivery provider. These providers process information for us to provide the service. Information may be processed outside your country, including in countries whose privacy laws differ from yours.
Retention
We delete guide-request email addresses no later than 30 days after the guide is sent, except where a limited record must be kept for security, legal compliance or to honor an opt-out request. You may request deletion sooner.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting the project owner. Where applicable, you may also object to or restrict processing, request a portable copy and complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
We use a privacy-focused web analytics service to measure visits, page views and website performance. It is cookieless: it does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to track visitors across sites. The analytics provider processes limited technical data to provide these aggregate measurements. We use no advertising cookies or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
